Glendower Court - Dereham

Following owner retirement we are letting out 5 furnished properties very close to Dereham Town Centre.     

5 single bedroom apartments to let around a quiet courtyard

Glendower House is a former gentleman's residence built around 1850 with an adjacent courtyard formerly providing outbuildings, stables and staff quarters.  Over recent years the courtyard has been improved, extended and let as self-catering short stay accommodation. 

 

Now we are moving to a longer term rental option and the 5 courtyard properties will be let out under new tenancies and/or contractual agreements.  The area bounded in red in the above image shows the courtyard and associated parking. 

 

Each apartment is detailed below including description, pictures and floor plans.  Each apartment is unique regarding layout.  Because of their previous use the apartments are furnished in a way that prioritises bed space - this may suit some prospective occupancies, but alternative layouts can also be arranged - perhaps prioritising more living space.  

All 5 properties include 1 designated parking space. 

Glendower Court is very close to all amenities in very easy walking distance including Supermarket (Morrisons), Doctors, Town Centre shopping and eateries.   

We are open minded about the type of occupancy arrangement. For example; a company let for all 5 apartments could be ok - this may suit businesses looking to locate multiple staff over an extended work placement.  Examples we have worked with in the past include staff working on windfarms and ancillary services, A47 dualling and other road schemes, extended contract work,  health locums and insurance placements            

 

Individual arrangements/tenancies will also be considered.

Greenstone (#3) and Withburga (#4) - share a similar layout with a bathroom + 1 further room downstairs, and a kitchen + 1 further room upstairs.   Both are electrically heated with modern thermostatically controlled wall mounted heaters. 

 

A designated car park space is provided for both properties 

ORCHARD COTTAGE

Orchard Cottage (#6) was built in 2008 - it is a modern 2 storey building which has a lounge and kitchen downstairs plus an ensuite bedroom upstairs.

 

To the rear is a small private garden accessed through French doors.

This property is radiator centrally heated by gas boiler (LPG)

A designated car park space is provided 

BONNER, FIRST FLOOR FLAT

Bonner(#2) is a first floor apartment with 2 large rooms, plus a  bathroom + a kitchen. 

 

This high ceiling property enjoys excellent views over the front garden and, to the rear, over the courtyard.  It's light and airy with 5 large sash windows.  It is electrically heated with modern thermostatically controlled/wall mounted heaters that can also be controlled remotely using a smartphone.

A designated car park space is provided 

GARDENERS COTTAGE

Our Gardeners apartment is ideal for guests looking for a totally ground floor set-up.  The apartment comprises; Entrance Hall, Large bed-sit lounge with 3/4 double bed, Fitted Kitchen, Bathroom with level-access shower, Single Bedroom, and parking right outside your front door.   

As well as by-the-night we also welcome longer stayers in this apartment needing urgent / fully equipped place to stay.

Gardeners Cottage (#1) is a ground floor Flat 

 

This high ceiling property provides convenient level access living.  It has views over the front garden and has a parking space close to the front door.

Heating is via 2 wall mounted / thermostatically controlled  heaters + a further storage heater using cheaper off peak electric.
